(the Print Watch thing is not related to Prio directly, it's another tool by those developers and always shown in their webpage titlebars for some reason) I'm thinking it might not work since Prio will see just the 4 cores during that attempt and when it's rebooted with all the cores enabled it could still cause the crash but it's worth the attempt even so - you might decide Prio is worth keeping around even in spite of it not being able to help in this situation. I use a tool called Prio aka Process Priority Saver to handle such duties, been using it for a few years now and I find it invaluable for such purposes.
